Maybe I should find a pic online, edit it a little and claim I bought one. How much should I say I paid?

Have you guys ever bought something someone "customized" off of ebay in a lot, and realized as you were looking at it that someone at one time gave a real shit about it? It's sorta weird how it somehow fell out of favor along the way and ended up discarded in a lot like that.

I’ve always wondered about that too, especially when I would buy o ring figures for dirt cheap in middle school (this was before people started collecting them as heavily) and one day I realized that man, some kid used to actually play with this and at one point bought it from a store and opened it. There are certain figures that I have great memories of, and many old figures I bought probably have had similar memories with someone else!
I once made a half-assed Indy Jones custom out of an X-men Origins Logan figure and a Crystal Skull Indy figure. I later sold it along with all my collection when I got of this back in 2010 or so. I saw it on ebay a year or two ago. Or, at least, I think I did...I can't be the only one to make a custom like that.

I have wondered that before and asked it on here if anyone has ever came across toys that they had as a kid whether it be a figure they found at a garage sale that had their initials on the foot or another identifier they saw as being theirs. I sold some of my stuff that being most of my TMNT figures I had and other misc toys at family yard sales and such. I never sold my joes though and honestly I don't know why I sold others but not them.

I think about that too. Most of my toys, that weren't shot with BBs or strapped to bottle-rockets, were sold in a yearly summer garage sale, so I really hope some of them are still floating around out there, and maybe even a beloved piece of someone's current collection. It's crazy to think how many original Joes in people's current collections are probably made up multiple pieces from multiple figures, due to repairs and restorations made along the way.

Tonight's lawn and garden lesson is about sulfur. You can buy sulfur in small bags or pouches at your local or big box hardware store.
"In the soil, sulfur interacts with plant roots in two ways. First, sulfur, when converted by bacteria to sulfuric acid, lowers soil pH, increasing plant-root access to many nutrients. Second, sulfur plays a critical role in the formation of plant tissue proteins and vitamin formation". Now is the time to add sulfur. If you have already planted your plants, add delicately to the soil and gently "rake it in" basically mix it in with the soil but be careful not to damage the roots. If you have not planted, dig a hole about 6 inches deep, place a small amount of sulfur and put a layer of soil over the opt of the sulfur before dropping your plant into the hole. By small amount I liken it to when cooking and you get a few fingers full of salt to drop in your recipe. Just a small amount goes a long way. It will break down into essential nutrients that your plant needs to stay healthy. Tomato plants with yellow-green lower leaves and elongated, woody stems may need more sulfur in the soil. For larger landscape like plants, 1/3 of a cup of sulfur below a layer of soil under the roots will produce beautiful full blooms. For Beach, if you are planting out side and the soil has sandy content, cut that application in half since sandy soil already has some components of the sulfur.

Next time we will explore manure and it's benefits to strong soil composition.
We will also cover basic lawn mower maintenance as a part of your friendly lessons from your ole pal Itchweed.

Is exploring manure a euphemism for the Hisstank experience?
