Can anyone tell me why we do not have a MMORPG of GI Joe? I mean we have two solid teams. They have enough environments and maps from the toys/cartoons/movie etc to have plenty of playable areas. I just do not understand why hasbro (the largest toy company in the world) does not have a really solid Joe MMORPG.
I think you could easily turn Joe into a game. You could do the game almost exaclt like WoW, OR COD. While I am thinking about it Joe could/should also have it's own pen and paper RPG. Hasbro owns WOTC who make D&D for christs sake. I mean literally how hard would it be to port over the storyline and characters to launch it's own RPG. Made by one of the best RPG makers going. |

Team Fortress II!
I bet Hasbro's brainstorm team have talked about it, maybe it will be more seriously considered once the general fan base builds up?

more than once ive started working on an rpgmaker fan game but with pixels and photos needed etc. it's too big of a project for one person.
as for something more official? I 'm under the impression the roc game didn't sell. |

Yes! For tabletop RPG there is a ton of stuff for the D20 open license, all it would take is a bit of twist in the flavor to make it a Joe themed game. Spycraft by AEG is supposed to be pretty good from what I hear, WotC came out with a whole D20 Modern line and Green Ronin put out Mutants and Masterminds.

I already spend half of my day on Hisstank or fiddling with my Joes, I don't need GI Joe to take up any more of my time.
