I thought it might be nice for members to share their kreo experiences
For instance: I have had my "kreo addiction" since right before this christmas. I had gone to TRU looking for toys for my infant neice, and saw the aisle with kreo joe stuff. Once I saw ole' CC as a kreon, I was hooked. I got tf sets for my older boy, and the cityville police station for the younger son. we were disappointed that the cityville figures were so small, so i scavenged from that set first. So there's how my collection got started. What about everyone else? |

I tried to get into Lego Star Wars /Marvel/DC stuff for a long time, but the prices here are ridiculous, when I got the chance to get 5 of the Kre-O sets in a trade i couldn't say no.
And it's the easiest way to have some G.I.Joe playsets/vehicles without a whole Joe room. ;) Last edited by composhop; 02-01-2014 at 03:18 PM.. |

the fact that it was heavily influenced by ARAH was enough to get me hooked. the figures are obviously dead on for their ARAH counterparts, the vehicles, not so much.
COBRA!!! I see many great possibilities in the KREO universe. We could even get a Terrordrome in the KREO line. Customizing is easily available with the inclusion of the decades of LEGO pieces, like all the vehicles geewunner has built and has for sale (see Ferrets in above pic). My Stinger I'm Proud of it. It was my favorite as a kid so I had to make one.

Yeah, I always had a soft spot for Lego. I bought several SW sets several years ago, but ended up selling them all on eBay... I ended up buying the Kreo Transformers sets when they went on sale here, really just for the Kreons. I couldn't resist GI Joe ones, too!
Funny enough, Kreo got me back into Lego, too - I've been collecting the old Classic Space sets like mad!

My 8 year old is into Legos and Mega Bloks. I am into GI Joe. I always wanted more Legos as a kid, but I didn't have room for those during the 80's (Star Wars, GI Joe, He-Man, Transformers, and MASK). The Joe Kreos are cute. When I saw Quick Kick came with a Frozen Fudgie Bar, I started buying the blind packs. I like the Transformers Kreons, too.

I guess I was bought to Kre-O by proxy? My girlfriend keeps buying me the minifigs, and I keep getting duplicates.

The question for me is----what's driving me away from kre-o? I made the decision last night to start getting rid of my kreo stuff. I like it, but I just am starting to have less room, and I am also getting into sideshow, which isn't easy on the account. I really so like Kreos, but not enough to keep going with it. I'm gonna keep a few Kreons I like, but the rest are going up for sale.
