Dune, Frankenstein, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Watchmen, V for Vendetta, anything by Robert E. Howard, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Berserk, and The Hero With a Thousand Faces.

"Cryptonomicon" by Neal Stephenson is one of my all-time favorites.
I'm also a huge HP Lovecraft fan, and I like a lot of Poe's writings. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's original "Sherlock Holmes" stories are always good reading. Lewis Carroll's "Alice" stories are both favorites of mine. "World War Z" is a pretty great book too. I'm currently working on my own fiction right now, but I've also been listening to some stuff on iTunes written by the Dali Lama, which is very fascinating.
