Used to get them in our porch supports and they like to butt bomb you if you mess with them. Male ones don't sting they just dive bomb the hell out of you.

So, I have a swarm of wood borer bees. Last week I used a sparkler to smoke them out (since Smoke wouldn't come over to help) and I greased the holes thinking that would keep them away but they keep coming back. Looks like I have termites on the fence because there is a steady pile of sawdust on the bottom rungs. I hate to kill them, but they come at you. Like if you get close they will bonk your head. Anybody have experience with these or ideas to get rid of them (other then tearing down the fence or using a shotgun or blowtorch)?

At work I fill the holes with silicone, but I haven't found any pest control treatment to use on them. Supposedly there isn't one.

Hey Yeet!
I just need Hawk. Can't find him for shit. Chicago South Loop Target has like 20 of them but I'm not driving to Chicago for him. Nothing in Central Wisco. Appleton had Obi-Wan and Wausau/Schofield I hear had Anakin and Obi-Wan but no Echo or Hawk. I know Point doesn't have any cause my youngest son stops there every day looking. Eau Claire had Echo but no Hawk. I hate their distribution. Nothing in LaCrosse or Madison. |

We've got a couple of homemade wood bee traps and they've been working great. There's around 25 or so in each right now. I check them every day when I can remember to and take a piece of wire to make sure there's none blocking the holes for others to get in. I don't empty the jars though. Seems like they work better if there are a few dead ones inside. I also sprayed all the old holes they had made with wasp spray to help keep them out of those and encourage them to go in the traps instead.
