The only ones I remember are from an early issue (Marvel #8) when Cobra was assaulting the Kennedy Space center using SEA Legs (giant, 2 legged robots) from off the coast. Unless it was something from the cartoon, then I got nothing.

My son loves those! When I was a kid, I used my old Shogun Warriors robot as one of those.

I seem to remember they were fluid contained within the suit, like, some kind of gel or just water that was being controlled by the helmet. Just how? Ummm... Molecular realignment through electrical impulses?

They seemed effective against GI JOE. So naturally, Cobra never used them again.
