Got the Bruder truck in and it is great! It can be a good infiltration vehicle for either Cobra or Joes. I was thinking a good paint job with some Arbco stickers from cobrastickers.com would make this like the comics when Cobra operated out of tractor trailers a few times.
Here is a link with a video showing how the trailers are detachable and freestanding: **Amazon.com: Bruder Man DHL Truck with Trailer: Toys & Games And now some pics: My only complaint is the doors to the cab do not open (unless I missed how to do it) so I have to figure out how to get a figure in there to "drive" it. Harry potter figures and playsets from Popco.
Harry Potter Great Hall Playset Room Of Requirement Playset Environment Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix: Gryffindor Common Room With Ginny Weasley Playset ++ compatible with joes great as civies, students etc can put one playset on the other.. very tall tower excellent choice for destro castle (indoor and outdoor good looking) -- expensive the floor is from cardboard and not very sturdy, difficult to make figures to stand fotos with joes |

I had this playset until it died! Poor thing, I used it for just about every war my figures ever had. There is a company that reprinted the Sears (?) cardboard missile playset on plastic, wonder if they could do something this massive? I would live to have it again, but more sturdy.

I've looked at the Scheich Castle before and it seems to run in the $100+ range. I've also read that the parts don't "plug" into each other but instead kind of "sit" on top or to the side. Is it particularly fragile in regards to bumping into it? (Not that the castle parts will break, but will fall off).

There is no plugging of the walls, they just sit next to one another, so you can get some space between them - they are very solid and you don't have to worry about bumping them, they sit just fine as well. Solid plastic all around. |

I got mine on the cheap ... 15.00 each . clearance., so was able to pick up two for 30.00 @ TRU a month ago..
They had these for 1.00 or 2.00..clearance also But overall the material is solid plastic and its good that they're not connected easier to put away
