Is there such thing as clear green stuff? I ask because eventually I want to start sculpting helmets with translucent visors.

Nope, you'd have to cast in clear resin.

I cant remember where I saw the tutorial but a thin piece of clear Styrene heated with a blow dryer will work for visors.

Nothing yet, either vacuum forming pieces, casting in clear resin or just cutting out clear strips and sculpting around them.

Plastruct, Inc. - Home Problem with the Plastruct site is that it's not very user friendly... In fact their entire ordering system is a pain to deal with. If you are just going to chop bits of clear plastic to make visors then the blisters from action figure packaging will work. If you are planning vacuum forming then you will need full sheets and to build a structure for that process. If you've never used one here is a pretty good how-to for making your own...
