Okay Tanker Customerizer Guru's, has anyone done a USS FLAGG version of the SDF-1 Macross Robotech ship with TWO aircraft carrier arms? I've seen some HUGE customs on this sight, now that would be crazy....... 1/3000 Scale Yamato SDF-1 Reissue - Yamato / Starblazers Figures

here's the 5 1/2 foot long cardboard version.
From the collection of Kenneth Olson I reckon a scratch-build with these images printed onto it might be the go

If I remember the SDF-1 was a mile in length in it's ship mode and got bigger when it transformed. Even scaled down that is going to be huge! But, I did just recently see that Metroplex someone was making for Transformers and I thought that was outa hand so who knows.

Flaggs wouldn't look right when compared to the Daedalus and Prometheus, plus the crappy construction of the Flagg would hinder efforts. Far easier just to scratchbuild all of it. Make the carrier arms say two feet long and the SDF-1 about six feet give or take...
...I'm not going to build it though, I've already narrowed my summer project down to two choices... |
