Ladybeard: Primary military specialty - Hand to Hand combat expert
Secondary Military specialty - Psychological warfare The presence of ladybeard on the battlefield is both awe-inspiring and confusing. The combination of swift and debilitating wrestling moves and taunting action poses coupled with heavy metal battle chants, referred as: "Kawaii Thunder Assault" allow ladybeard to tear through the enemy ranks before they know how to react. Several times Ladybeard has turned the tide of battle by his mere presence and in other situations the Joe team have amplified his growling and threatening voice over loudspeakers and open communications channels to disorientate the enemy. "I... Don't know what I am looking at." Gung-Ho at battle of Coyote Mesa "I... Don't know what I am looking at." Destro at battle of Coyote Mesa For those who don't know, Ladybeard is an Australian wrestler who made a name for himself over in China and Japan. Not only does he do pro-wrestling but also has been involved with several musical projects like "Ladybaby" and "Deadlift Lolita" Here are some vid links... Designers notes: I've always had an issue with the introduction of Sargent Slaughter and other wrestler characters to the Joe line especially since I really did not like pro-wrestling in the 80's. The over-the-top machismo and smack talking never won me over and the whole fake fighting was so... Fake. I just couldn't get behind it. So when the Sarge was introduced to the Joe team it felt so weird. But at the same time it made total sense and fit just right. I've seen some customs of the Sarge that went a long way to help me reconcile these thoughts and even inspired me to make my own. Just a few years ago I saw a video for Ladybeard and it wasn't long before I made the connection and decided to do a custom Joe figure. Parts list Head - Personal sculpt Body - Marvel Warpath Knee pads - GI Joe renegades Cobra Trooper skirt - AVAC's lab cast Other - Bikini top sculpted by me and large neck-ball added for greater head positioning. Joe deacal by Badmothertattoos.

Those sunken, pitch-black eyes are almost as discomforting as the rest of the getup. It's hilarious, though, and certainly well-executed. Also, "Deadlift Lolita" sounds kind of weirdly awesome.

I remember watching this guy singing in an anime video of sorts. The Japanese are both strange and awesome!

Which warpath figure is that torso? I like the chest hair showing. I've been looking for a torso like that for a custom. Do you have any other head sculpts you've done or working on?
