You mentioned Hadji's turban in my thread and how you had plans for it and I immediately thought of a turban wearing bad guy from the American Defense line.

Yes! I have done some American Defense figures early in this thread (Bush Fighter, Slugger, & Yeti come to mind) & I've also considered Protector. The upcoming turban wearing character for this thread is not from American Defense (but it was a good guess!)

Yes even though the trench coats are a tad small/tight on the MTF figures they work & especially well if open, the one kinda closed on Old Snake is about the limit. Not sure is the Loomis coat is any different in size than the Reese coat but I imagine it will work! ;-)

Thanks! You have plenty of imagination! We all pull from different sources, likes, etc. & I'm glad I can still (hopefully) inspire! You must be spending too much time in your favorite thread lol! Old Snake is my fave of this round too, soft goods for the win! Looks like we will be seeing some soft goods from MGR Official with the upcoming skirts & capes, & that can definitely influence some new builds!

Yes lol! I am always working on figures several months ahead of what I show everyone in this thread, so the next 2 drops of 5 are already complete (up to figure #500), so the next couple drops after that are in order process in various stages from various dealers. I know many like to show off their works as soon as they're finished, but I have been working several months ahead for years now. I like to have at least 2 drops waiting in the wings for the upcoming months... it's like having a personal release schedule. If something goes wrong (MGR still makes frequent mistakes with my orders), then I have back up waves... If I do 1 drop a month... (that's my minimum), or when I do more then 1 a month (say like February, I did 3), it's because I had the normal drop, a special drop (7 Year Anniversary,) & an extra drop (because I had too many completed waves in the hold queue & wanted to move them along.) I used to do things in more stages, like photos & bios separate days, always posting the finals on Saturdays etc., but I do finalizing more condensed now, where I'll spend some rare free time just doing more of it all at once (photos, bios, posts), even if the figures have been completely ready for months. I think about the bios when I am buying the parts for the figures, so I already have ideas in my head what I'm going to write, & I have a set up for my photos that is always ready to rock, so it's just spacing out the drops enough not to overload the friends of this thread, & giving each drop a short time to shine before the next one comes! Long winded I know, but some insight as to how I keep this thread rolling.

Thanks as always Mr. H! 500 is just two waves away & you have been here the entire ride! All the figures for those 2 waves have been built, & both waves will be posted in the upcoming weeks!
