Not much I can say that hasn't been said already, but this is absolutely fantastic. Your vision, execution, and presentation are unparalleled.

Thanks bro, the base was a Knex Titanfall ogre and I remade the insides with bionicle parts for articulation. Thank you so much brother it means a lot Thank you sir Quote:

Oh, you dirty dog! I'm working on this too!
Difference is that I'm using a Fox Sports robot as the base and adding the K'Nex Titanfall Ogre armor over the top of it. I've also been building a bit of a cockpit for the pilot and plan to use 1/12th scale bits to accessorize him. He's been sitting half done in my workspace for nearly a year now but finding the time to finish him has been tough, you beat me to the punch! Thank you so much sensei, just following your example! |

The articulation (I thought) was surprisingly well done, lots of wide range of motion; double jointed knees and elbows, ball sockets on the hips and shoulders, the ankles have a swivel and pivot for wide stance poses and the feet have a pivot in the arch of the foot so you could do sprinting or crouching poses. The torso has a similar set-up like modern Joe figs with the separation just under the rib cage and I think there is a pivot on the wrists (can't remember as I replaced the hands with the K'Nex Ogre's) as well as a swivel just a bit further down the arm so you can move the whole hand forward and back drastically. the head is a ball and socket too but rides so low in the torso that posing it is a bit tough. The whole thing is made out of the same vinyl/plastic that Neca and McFarlane use for their stuff so ABS styled glue won't work on it very well, just to forewarn you. Hopefully I'll get him done, I'm still trying to figure out if I want to use more of the K'Nex armor on him or just go with the standard figure limbs. I do need to place an order for weapons in at Monkey Depot so he's got some good armorment and I've got that McFarlane Halo Warthog rocket launcher set that I want to mod into some over the shoulder missile pods for him. Some 1/6th scale pouches to kit him out with and he should be ready for painting... I hope. Sounds so simple when I write it. But seeing yours done makes me want to get off my ass and finish mine.

The Fox Robot is 10" tall and it's the newer version that looks more mecha-ish rather then the older version that has a gladiatorial robot feel. I don't care much about sports so when I picked the bot's colors I went with the Raiders because their colors are black and grey so less obvious joint rub when I paint it.
