Yep, there you go. With thanks to Skinny for the cap link. If you click on the pic for full size, you get a very good view.
Retaliation 2nd theatrical trailer :: Screenshot2012-04-24at41217AM.png picture by blowtorch84 - Photobucket Tank on the far right is side on. Lots more surface detail on it, and clearly a canopy is visible (although whether it's clear or opaque is open to interpretation). The original pic I posted is almost certainly a prototype for the film.

hmm that picture from the trailer make it look like a modified AMTRAC. Be pretty cool if it turns out to have room to carry a few troops.

Prolly used for a placeholder for CG mapping in scenes, why it looks so bare, or a dummy vehicle for vehicles that dont appear up front that are CGIed.... They like to reduce construction costs by not applying paint apps and details till post production with computer wizardry...hey thats kinda like Hasbro does!

Close enough for this fanboy. I think it's awesome that they are incorporating more classic stuff. Better than hovering amorphous blobs shooting Geonosian sonic blast farts.

It's got the hallmarks of a HISS, and it's used as a Cobra tank in the movie. But has it been officially confirmed in any capacity that it is indeed a HISS tank? I'm not really being skeptical, merely curious. I certainly hope it is a HISS, and I'm sure Hasbro will call it a HISS if they release a toy of it.

I also can't imagine they built more than one of these so maybe it is just for mapping the CGI and for occasional physical interaction. |
