Ah ok
Interesting. As i said, we had two different names for what you call turpentine, cos we have two different products. Probably you too. Basically, the turpentine used in oil painting (let's say "artist painture") is a colored, dense stuff. It has a yellowish-ambar colour. The turpentine used to clean doesn't have colour, and is very liquid. I'm i right? YES! Clear no color ,and is Liquid like water just about used to clean that would be it Ren! |

Zombie face paint - Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Tip & Trick for the PlayStation 2 Thanks Lala, i needed something just like that. Any other game you can think of? I don't play these new games :P Quote:
That's the stuff. Well, you have to mix it with enamels. The best way, is to have some kind of "palette" to work. A polyestirene tray (that white stuff made of little spheres) is perfect. So, take some drops of enamel and put it on the tray. Then use a drop (more or less) of turpentine, and mix it. The enamel will be way more liquid and fluid, it will be noticeable. That's the perfect point to paint. You'll have to do several coats, but the result is much more resistant (it won't chip away easily), and no stickyness. A rough proportion should be three drops of enamel for one of turpentine. Using a polyestirene tray is useful: if you place too much enamel, it will eat away the polystirene. So, if you mixed it well with turpentine, it will not corrode the polyestyrene, and you'll be ok to work with. This sounds kind of troublesome, but the result is great. You can pose the figure without being afraid of chipping the painture. If you do a base of enamel, then paint with regular paintures on top of it and then a coat (or several) of varnish, you'll get a nearly perfect painture that won't chip even if you scratch it with your finger. I did this on a custom, and now i can't unpaint the torso LoL

Well, one of my all time favorites is this game called Black, as in Black Ops, it's a highly underrated game. The enemies wear helmets and masks identical to the Cobra blue shirts, and other enemies look like alley vipers with beach Head masks, very cool looking bad guys, I always pretend I'm playing a Joe game. The Bad news: All the screen shots suck, you can't really see anything. They should have used the sniper rifle scope to zoom in and then do the screen grab, oh well. Other than that, I'm not up on many of the new "Cool" games. |

aguarrÃ*s;/ Translation//
The thinner, also called turpentine is a volatile, colorless liquid produced by distillation of the resin, also called a micron, the pines. Está formado principalmente por una mezcla de hidrocarburos terpénicos , mayormente alfa y beta pinenos , aunque su composición varÃ*a dependiendo de la clase de pino de la que provenga la resina. It consists primarily of a mixture of hydrocarbon terpenes, mostly alpha and beta pinene, but their composition varies depending on the class that comes from pine resin. One of the main sources of turpentine was the turpentine (Pistacia terebinthus), a Mediterranean tree related to the pistachio. At present the main pine turpentine producers are: maritime pine (Pinus pinaster), Aleppo pine (Pinus halepensis) Masson Pine (Pinus massoniana), Sumatran pine (Pinus merkusii) southern pine (Pinus palustris) Pine Loblolly pine (Pinus taeda) and ponderosa pine (Pinus ponderosa). La destilación de la trementina obtenida a partir de los pinos de California como el pino ponderosa (Pinus ponderosa) y el pino real (Pinus sabiniana) dan como resultado un tipo de aguarrás que es casi heptano puro. The distillation of turpentine from the pines of California as the Ponderosa pine (Pinus ponderosa) and real pine (Pinus sabiniana) result in a type of white spirit which is almost heptane pure. |
