The next three I did, not so much because I'm obsessed with the female characters (ok, I am. We all are). I just didn't think many of the figs we've gotten so far were great.
First up is the Baroness, and this was truly my first GI Joe custom. It's been sitting on my shelf for months. And believe it or not, the hand made wire glasses actually look amazingly good in real life. I bent and shaped thin wire and then used a glue made by Micro-Sol that dries clear and can be drawn across small openings to make "windows". It's actually designed for it, so I made lenses that way. I put a Cobra emblem on her left arm, and a sweet IG logo on the right, but for some reason, I have no pics of that. This one came together fast and wasn't really difficult. I think of Scarlett as more of a nuts and bolts, get-the-job-done, no frills girl. So I went with a plainer headsculpt and a more tactical outfit.
I know it's original and classic, but I couldn't give her a crossbow. That's just silly. So I gave her a Kriss Vector. As a Kriss owner myself, I just felt like Scarlett would embrace the no-nonsense tactical efficiency of this beautiful instrument of destruction. Finally, I have Lady Jaye. I wanted to do this one as soon as I saw the Retaliation poster of Palicki in the desert. I thought Palicki was great for the movie, but she was too flashy and not my ideal picture of Lady Jaye.
This took the most work. Those are NOT the current LJ's legs from the Retaliation figure. They're the original LJ's. If I had known they were going to do the desert camo figure, I would have waited for them. Instead, I laid a base layer of khaki over the green, printed sheets of camo decals, and cut them into strips, laying them fastidiously over several days until they were covered. Same with the hat. I dremeled Renegades Scarlett arms and added putty for the gloves/wrist folds. I'm still not satisfied with the webgear, because it's too big for her, but it looks okay just standing there for now. I'll keep looking. I finally pulled the trigger on the Angel Forge head and painted it up and repeated the camo process on the hat. I actually have second versions of all three of these in the works, so I'll post them when I get them done. They can all be had if anyone wants them. I'm not terribly attached to the things I make. LOL Just make me an offer.

I really like your Lady Jaye... and typically she is my least favorite female character. Very nice work.
