I would love to be the one to take all the credit for this but GI Guppy the Third beat me to the punch with his Heavy Duty custom (and I thought I was being soooo clever.) I got the idea from the Sargent Slaughter custom with the Sarg's head on Crossbones body and another custom someone did with Thor's head for Rock n' Roll. Put the two together with that BFG from Halo and Rock n' Roll got a bit on the POC side.
Thinking of how the original ARAH 13 fit in with the more modern situation it made sense to me that these guys were the old war horses of the Joe force (hence the grey hair), THE experts in their field who might be more training instructor now then full field ops. But if the situation presented itself where they were called into battle then all hell would be breaking loose, not because they were old and enfeebled or the last in line but because these guys are some of the most dangerous and experienced of all the Joes. Living battle engines that left a path of destruction in their wake, war personified. So, this is my Rock n' Roll and first custom post. Recipe: Head - Movie Thor Torso/Arms - Captain America Crossbones Hands - Resolute pilot Destro Thighs - ROC Heavy Duty Knees - POC Dusty Calves/Feet - Captain America Crossbones BFG - Halo Jorge BFG Armature - resin cast POC "money bags" Destro Desert Eagle - Captain America figure (modern) Painting was done with Tamiya enamel camo spray and Vallejo acrylics, details are Gundam decals.

I think we should have a thread for all the cool Rock and Roll Customs, seems to be a pretty popular figure to customize. Great Job, BTW. Love the Gun and concept of him being older. I def would like to see the o13 as a grizzled group of older joes, too bad that they didnt make a Frigga Figure, that would have made a great head for a cougar Scarlett.

Actually, I am working on a Scarlet as well as a Zap, Flash and Grunt. I don't have plans to do all 13 but who knows?

Cool concept aging Rock-N-Roll into a trainer or expert grizzled veteran. If the Joes are disavowed and presumed dead then they should not have retirement plan so that makes sense. This turned out well. That head and body combo is nice. This is clean and simple but looks excellent. Thanks for sharing.

I was worried about the head fitting, it is smaller then the Crossbones head but the hair helps fill out and add mass to it, I think if I used a regular head it would look REALLY off.
