Hama is back with full force. This is such a drastic improvement from issue 155 1/2. Hopefully this will not be his swan song. Gallant's artwork has improved as well, but I wish he would not make every character do skinny that it appears the are wearing baggy clothes.
I would love to see Robert Atkins or Tom seely draw a few issues of ARAH.

I've had the same thoughts creep into my head, too, in regards to Hama's "Swan Song," come issue 200.
But it's all in my head, right? I mean, no one has heard anything on that front, either way?
cobracommander1 says
I have not heard anything. I just remember the hype surrounding issue 150. Five months later, my 14 tear old heart broke to read "this is it, the final issue of GI Joe"
Old wounds.....?

I sincerely hope issue 200 isn't the end of this title, it's really fueled the nostalgia I have for the original run.

First, I'm thrilled that my local comic store re-opened after 4 years and is now carrying this title. I just can't bring myself to read the other ones, they just don't feel like "Joe" to me. I hadn't thought about 200 being the final issue, I had actually been wondering if he was going to kill off a bunch of Joes like he did in 109-114. Anyone else get the same feeling?

Awesome, can't wait!
Mainframe says
Awesome read. Arc is going in the correct direction and tons of Joes. Here is hoping for Cross Country FSS

So...TPBs will be available for trade to anyone who wants 'em!

Am I the only one who's not a big fan of Gallant's work? His characters were particularly weak in this issue.
