Thanks for the tip. I swear Guile's charged based super with the odd stick motion is impossible on pad. Zangief's is tough too. I used to be able to pull the regular ones off on PS1, now I just end up hopping around like an idiot until i get it right. And it gets blocked by then of course.
Maybe a stick and Super SFIV will be cool til this comes out. |

I just read an email I got from Marvel about this and I'm stoked!
I just wish that they would have used 2D graphics instead of the 3D graphics like Street Fighter IV has. They did say that it would have "comic" styling though, so I guess that's a good thing. I actually haven't played Street Fighter IV yet because I'm waiting for the "Super" version to come out next week. I guess I really can't complain about it being a 3D fighting game until I try a recent version of one for myself. In any case I'm really looking forward to it.

Yeah I agree I think it would of been better to go 2-D, redraw all the characters in HD and focus on balancing the gameplay, esp. assist use, and add more characters not less. The visual style of MVC2 set it apart from the rest of the Street Fighters and was really comic accurate IMO. With this new direction to make it in 3-D kinda feels like Street Fighter 4 only with teams and Marvel characters. I'd rather see a 2-D Chris Redfield drawn like Jill Valentine's style than the super buff 3-D Chris from RE5. Whatever though because I'm going to get it no matter what unless it's a total fail.

This game is going to be sick. Personally, I hope they go with a more SFIII/SF4 fighting style. I was never a fan of the 26 hit aerial combos and all that.

What ever happened to just unlocking that stuff? MvC3's DLC could be like porn for the obsessive, with so many obscure characters from each universe and all the superhero costumes out there. I do hope they keep some of the roster a secret. That last Smash Brothers was a bit of a letdown after they kept revealing hidden characters after each release date was delayed. My guess for final boss? Galactus in a gi or sumo red skull. |

Awe-some!
I hope I can still get my dream team... Iron-man, War Machine, and Cable... for a 99 hit combo! I wonder who the final boss will be this time around. I'm sure they will be a super cheap-ass |

That would be cool thread to start. I don't think there are many MVC2 players on the tank though lol. Modern Warfare 2 probably a ton. Street Fighter players I'm guessing like 10 lol.
