Personally I like the push disney gives it but I wish Lucas still had some creative control just cause of the last three movies. Galaxies edge would be cooler if it had more of a original trilogy feel to it.

Same with Fss 5.0 Jane, FSS 6.0 Dojo, Retaliation Red Ninjas, and Hiya Colonial Marine Figures |

i saw the prequels. im glad he's not involved anymore. short of rian johnson, what disney's been doing has been fine with me.
i hated rogue one for the same reason why most people hate rey, they incorrectly accuse her of being a mary sue, when jyn erso is 10x the mary sue rey is. taking her out would improve the movie a lot. it'd make cassian have to do more than be a supporting character that doesnt do much to support the best character in the world at everything because they're the best and they can fly and they can do karate. visually rogue one is great. everything else leaves a lot to be desired. now. solo? it's a fucking fun movie. |

I just picked up the 2006 Snow speeder. I love it (minus being the only one that doesn’t have the harpoon, but I like that the rear cannon is smaller because of that.
That being said; are there any other 4inch figures that exist as snow speeder pilots besides Zev and the older Luke figure? Quote:
this round {6inch} had a lot of repaints, and the few new figures aren't as desirable as in past pre sales. hate it when Disney controls what Hasbro pushes out. all cash grab. there is still a lot of 3.75 figures that need to be out before these repaints and troop builders.

The prequel trilogy suffered from utterly shit execution and is a prime example of why GL is a terrible story teller and unable to connect with the audience, but at least had interesting concepts and ideas. The Sequel Trilogy has been utter shit all around, and such a merchandising failure that companies were able to renegotiate the licence fees. Any plot points that had potential were quickly snuffed out or forgotten. As bad as the prequel trilogy was it did give us two Clone Wars animated series. In comparison Disney gave us Rebels and Top Gun For Teens In Space, or whatever the other failure was called. It was massive financial failures that pushed Disney to return to the Clone Wars. And now those toys like the Bad Batch and Ahsoka are popping up everywhere. Looking at GL's scripts for the sequel trilogy, and assuming he would be in total control as he was with the prequels, then his sequel versions would have been equally abhorrent as Disney's. GL is one of those brilliant technicians that really needs a strong team for his vision to be brought to life as seen in the original trilogy and American Graffiti. Without that team you get garbage, and generally garbage movies, not named Transformers, don't sell many toys. The Mandalorian and Rogue One are the bright spots of Disney's efforts. I'm fairly convinced R1 was a success despite Disney's meddling, and wish we could have gotten the movie originally envisioned. As much as I enjoy the OT setting it's disheartening that Disney can't seem to move away from it. Revisiting KOTOR in episodic or movie form could be amazing and greatly expand the cinematic universe. Hopefully they can do so without making another disaster like Solo. I don't have much hope for the Disney films as they are all too sanitized and nontroversial. No grit or real artistic vision. Everything tends to be a bit milquetoast, but if Disney let's Hasbro produce toys that sell well instead of saddling Hasbro with more Reys and Rose Ticos then the toy lines can survive by reverting back to the OT. |

yeah, that resistance was about some dipshit bumbling imbecile teenager that was some how this super spy, and then the toy line was only 8 figures at best with ZERO vehicles from the show - it was just a colossally stupid idea. i mean, literally no ships at all. not even in hotwheels that i wouldnt buy. freaking nothing. in a show about racing space ships.
but boy am i glad they made that one purple skin chick pilot. yep! just the ONE pirate. dont need any more of them! it's great they also didnt bother to make that tie pilot figure, i get it though. he was way more interesting than anime name main character that fucking sucks. glad yeager and his droid were short packed and barely made it to the shelves. rebels was a masterpiece. resistance was just an embarrassment. |

Rise of Resistance is an awesome experience. But it's ST. If they swapped out Kylo Ren and Hux for Vader and Tarkin, and dumped those abominal FO Troopers for true Stormies, that shit would be too on point to be handled.

as far as storm trooper armor is concerned that doesnt bother me. i expect that kind of thing to evolve over time. i'd be pretty into what a fo scout looks like.
unless it looks like total ass. but the fo tie fighter pilots look pretty awesome. Last edited by THEDARKONE508; 09-14-2021 at 11:23 AM.. |

This I think is the biggest failure of the new era.

The joke is that Galaxy's Edge was supposed to originally be OT themed. Then TFA happened and Kennedy whispered to Iger saying they need an ST theme for the this new generation and not the grumpy 40-year olds. The designers had to shift in the middle of the development. The good news is most of the theme park is supposedly modular and can be changed into a new theme with little difficulty so there may be hope with the success of the Mandalorian that it will go back to the OT as originally intended
Effing Kathleen Kennedy... There's a timelessness to the OT that I don't think could be supplanted, even if the ST didn't completely suck.
