I was packing up my collection in preperation for moving to a new apartment in September and I was looking at the Matt Trakker figure and I got to thinking that I would like to see a new M.A.S.K. or Centurions line in 1:18 scale. I was wondering about the rest of you guys. I always thought that Trakker was a backdoor test to see if thier was any intrest in a revived M.A.SK. line when I first heard about him.

there is talk of a M.A.S.K movie in the works ( dont know if its live action or cgi ) and i assume a toy line would follow. i personally would love a M.A.S.K line to come out an for it to be joe compatible and someone on another thread said that hasbro should reuse joe molds to cut costs, couldn't agree more

I hope the movie comes out, because I'm dying to get my hands on the other M.A.S.K. characters...at LEAST Miles Mayhem! I'm hoping if it happens, they can do a "Movie" and "Comic/Animation" subset like the Iron Man 2 figures.

I would love New MASK or Centurions!
They were some of my favorite toy lines and cartoon shows after GI JOE. Unfortunately I don't know where I would get the money to guy them though. As a kid my friend up the street had a nice MASK collection that we used to play with together... I don't know how they could make Centurions in JOE-Size though... it would be tough to make the weapons connect to small figure bodies...

I know when Hasbro did "Specialist Tracker" they said that was it, but then again they have said lots of things that would never happen and ended up coming to be.
I would probably grab a few (Condor Bike, The Rhino Semi, The SUV that I forget the name of, The sports car, the Switchblade) but I definatly would not be a completest. Just the ones that were cool from back in the day. The figs would be the ones that went with the vehicles. But no matter what MASK is a vehicle line, no way would I just be grabbing figs. No offence to anyone but I never really liked centurions that much. Didn't hate them or anything just not something that appealed to me is all. |

I'd love the idea of Joe-Scale versions of either. Except MASK might seriously lose something in translation, because I can't see them making too many vehicles. Too big and complicated (What with all the transforming bits) to be very cost-effective unless they're really expensive on-shelves.
Though I suppose it's not impossible...many of the designs' transformations are pretty simple. |

I agree with getting a new 1:18 MASK line done by Hasbro. I also wish Hasbro would reissue the original MASK toys done by Kenner.
I'm currently on a MASK toy kick/binge. I have Piranha and Manta and just got a Switchblade, Thunderhawk, and Jackhammer. I'd like to eventually get a complete first series and maybe second series of the original MASK line.

1:18 Centurions would be pure sex, though, and I think quite workable with a little ingenuity on Hasbro's part.
