Man, that takes me back. This was one of those second or third-tier toy lines, and I don't mean that in a bad way. There were just some lines out of the dozens they threw at us that didn't stick. You usually owned at least one random figure from those sorts of lines because your grandma or someone gave it to you for your birthday, and you often came across toys like this at the bottom of a friend's toy box. There was likely one of those weird insect-eyed alien guys who were in one episode of Battle Star Galactica buried at the back of a million closets throughout suburbia. It's like how there was always one of those Gay Toys drugstore plastic vehicles in every backyard sandbox. These guys, Robo Force, Crystar, Blackstar, all that Remco stuff...such an underappreciated, yet huge part of the eighties childhood experience.

Yeah I had a bit of those and your right about those plastic toys as well. I used those boats for joes in the pool and had a plastic shark attack them when playing jaws. Man those are good times.

Yeah man! Remember those two silver vehicles, one a jet and the other some space-aged hotrod, that said "LASER" or something on a paper sticker down the side. I need to find a photo of that... Edit: Found 'em.

I have two of them ... Saberstone (the evil "girl" who is second from the left in the OP's photo), as well as her heroic counterpart, Solitaire. Both were bought online and, there's no sugarcoating this, I was totally ripped off twice.
Plus, wow, are they hideous.

I have that silver frog looking one toward the front. He's somewhere in my son's toybox. Got him at a yard sale about 25 years ago.

in my search trying to get a replacement- i found out that they made a few different versions! and the first replacement wasnt the one i had! so, 30 bucks more later, i have the right one. and i sleep better for it. i tried to get the jet, the tank and i think there's a boat. i decided since i didnt have them when i was a kid; i didnt need to put the cost of a tank of gas into replacing each of them. "gay toys" is definitely not an easy ebay search to have on a work pc. "processed plastics" also works. |

I had the car while my brother had the jet. Outback and Big Boa used to drive that car into battle all the time.
