Classic Havok and Death Archangel have already shown up at some stores. So has the new head for the X-suit Wolverine.

Blackman2005's right. Hasbro's track record is pretty lousy.
"Looking at Hasbro's track record they can shut down production on a toyline based to low consumer purchasing or just for pete's sake in a blink of an eye (Wolverine and the X-men, Transformers Animated,Transformers Universe, Marvel Legends, G.I. Joe Sigma, G.I. Joe 25th Anniversary, etc.)." They also appear to recognize when there is some demand. That's how we got more Transformers classics/universe figures. "None of their recent (2005-2010) toylines have a longevity of 4 years + besides Star Wars. . .To counter-act that from happening why not make each toyline better based on consumer input to see better sales? " Agreed. There's only so much that can be blamed on the economy. There's a penetration and distribution issue. My local Walmart has had the same figures on the shelf since right after Christmas. This includes EVERY LINE--Marvel Universe, GI Joe and Transformers. The exception: Star Wars. And those toys moved when the new shipment came in. I have real doubts this Marvel Universe line has any more staying power. I can see the MU line folding in the coming months, and the movie lines being the only method by which we'll receive any more 3 3/4 Marvel figures. |

Ain't that some shit. It started with 10 figures and the next thing you know becuz of DEMAND, we get 100 more figures.(maybe less/more) That is something ROC can't claim. We demanded it. Ok, not gonna bash ROC, that shit is dead, but this MU is pissin' me off. I really don't wanna have to be an online buyer unless its a exclusive or I'm buyin' toys from my childhood. I wanna go to the store and buy 'em rather than 'nerdin' it up with the VISA. I would probably buy more then I could afford than just snaggin' a few off the pegs.

New Jersey, Ohio, Texas... well, the variants are showing up, I suppose...
I asked BBTS and a few other sites, the response from BBTS sums it up: Quote:
If we can get some of them from our suppliers we will list them to the website if and when we get an order confirmation.

Yesterday I saw a snowboarding Spiderman placed in the latest assortment of the 3.75" Spiderman line. Again, HASBRO, wtf!!!!!!!
You gave Spidey a seperate line to fit in more characters that are tied specifically to Spiderman but refuse to make more characters?!? And then its genius to put one popular character like MARY Freakin' JANE in MU line-up instead?!? Is it me, or does it seem like Hasbro really takes a shot in the dark, sees a toyline fail/underperform then blames it on the recession instead of poor decision making on their part. Its common sense to make money off of people by just giving the consumer what they want. For instance, the 3.75" scale is ideal for guess what? vehicles and playsets. MU, Spiderman and IM2 are for the most part missing it. Wouldn't it be smart to place a figure like Aunt May, Jarvis, or Invisible Woman that wouldn't regularly sell that great on a single card with a playset and or vehicle instead? The Spiderman line only produced four new figures into the line (Carnage, Venom, Rhino and Doctor Octopus) that didn't appear in MU. Then to make matters worst they made cuts on articulation just to keep those crappy holograph cards and spring loaded bazookas? Someone is riding the white horse and knocking down 8-balls at Hasbro because this line makes no sense.....

shoo blackman, please. I agree with you man. i fracking hate the spidey series! I finally found the Rhino figure at k-mart this past weekend but He's still in his package. I kinda hate him for taking all the resources away form the MU line so I will prolly burn him in the back yard. Seriously tho, I will prolly trade him.
