You comparing the Spinmasters line with this proves my point. This has even less articulation, less detailing/sculptwork, and a higher price point, so who is the target audience? It's not collectors looking for a new line to supplement existing or previous options, so it must be kids who don't understand they're asking for an inferior product. And Hasbro has already admitted that collectors are the main buyers of their products, so why alienate them with a lesser product. Spinmasters, Jazwares, Funko, Bandai, and even Jakks are putting out figures in the same scale, at the same or lower price points, with better sculpting, articulation, and character choice. So why should we just accept dreck just for the "kids"?

I wouldn't be so quick to judge this line harshly. The Miles and Iron Spider have raise Spiders, which will make these unique sculpts- Spidey has grooved webs. So these at least won't be one or two bucks repainted over and over again
To that end, this line has basically the same articulation as SM and better sculpting.

I think what you're saying you want is hyper-articulated 4"/1:18 scale Marvel figures, and you're disappointed Hasbro isn't making that, but calling these inferior and "dreck" just because they're not what you want is bullshit. And judging by how little Marvel Universe sells for an ebay, there apparently isn't much demand for what you want, and that renders your assertion Hasbro isn't catering to the right audience incorrect and/or moot.

one of the commments is upset that the mechstrike line started out at 6" and is now 4", but here i am, upset that the mechstricke line started out at 6" rather than starting out at 4".
it looked awesome, but it seemed like they were under articulated, as well as being a scale i dont prefer. if i didnt have the absolute best version of hulk ever x2 (the gamma fist from avengers assemble) i'd definitely consider that new 4" scaled mechasomething hulk if i lost my bana movie hulk. i really like big robots and superheroes, and it's a shame that the mechastrike wasnt in a scale i like, even the monster hunters one looked neat - but they too were under articulated looking. |

Wonder if these are part of the initial checklist/ lineup, or a sub line?

Just saw. Thought since it was a Walmart exclusive, it might be separate. Not much here for me yet. Hoping to see some characters I don't have in the scale soon
And if you're referring to retro, it isn't canceled it's "on hold", they're was a vid in Instagram, but I don't really know how that shit works either Edit: these aren't Walmart exclusive, they'll be launching there in April and everywhere else in the fall
