What are some of your favorite and maybe more obscure lines that you liked? Ever notice that in some of that stuff there was something awesome and ahead of everything else?
Ok, ROBOCOP toys, 1st of all I have no idea how the hell it even got a toy line back then being how violent that movie was...but it did. I thought most of the figures sucked BUT that ED-209 was awesome...still holds up today. Bionic Six, ppl here have complained about the paint but I think the diecast and transparent plastic was different and cool. Cartoon was awesome and it was just a 2nd tier franchise with some really 1st rate qualities. Swamp Thing. It wouldnt't be the 80's if you didn't have some push button, arms swinging BS. Having said that, the detail on ol' Swamps is pretty damn good for the time. Wheeled Warriors: Look, they f'in ruled and that's all I'm saying about it. |

I thought Adventure People from Fisher Price was one the best toy line from the 80's.
There were cooler lines of course but everyone I knew had a few of these playsets and they were fun to play

I dug Swamp Thing toys. Also, I don't remember if was the 80's still or not. Maybe the late 80's? But I got these He-Man figures that had hologram chest plates. They weren't the regular He-Man style at all. I only had 3 of them but I loved those figures. I don't remember any of my friends ever having any of them.

Bionic 6.Never had the toys but thought it was a cool cartoon.
Captian Power...We need this updated to bluray and a supporting toyline now. Centouions...Awsome toyline, don't remember the cartoon to good.Maybe this is why i like Sigma 6,the port system is brilliant. There was another toyline that used holograms on their weapons and stuff, dom't remember the name. |

Dungeons and Dragons, Barely any articulation (and in some cases with the later ones, none) but some classic creatures, characters and monsters. Not sure if it rates as second rate with how much they sell on the secondary market, but I still love em.

WHEELED WARRIORS WERE FANTASTIC!
Centurions were also a great concept but I think they suffered from a poor scale choice. The cartoon is also great for the era and still holds up well. |

Dungeons and Dragons and Crystar. Almost, but not quite.
