same here. my target is at 6.99. maybe cbr is right and your target just hasnt changed the tags? when my target first put em out the end caps were at 6.99 and in the aisle they were 7.99 i pointed this out to an associate who check the figs in the aisle and they came up 6.99. But it wouldnt surprise me if they did this. Something i have noticed is that if a target is by a wal-mart or near it they are lower but is target is not or by another less competative store (like for example my target only has k-mart) then they may be higher than say the targets down in roseville both have a wal-mart near them). maybe its something to that effect?

I am just glad I went in yesterday to get the price adjustments on the stuff I already bought. I plan to take full advantage of the sales at TRU next week.
I cannot believe the prices the big retailers are charging for figures now days. I have seen Marvel Universe as high as $8.99 (US) plus tax. How many kids can spend $10 for a figure? How many parents can spend that much for their kids? I understand that Direct-to-Collectors figures are pricey, but the entry-level should be affordable enough for a kid with a paper route can buy a toy here and there. Sorry for the rant. |

hey no worries brother. All of us as collectors feel it. Some just have different view points on the matter, but im sure all of us can agree that lower prices tend to equal more people buying the stuff.

No, I didn't scan them... thanks for making me feel like a jackass :p lol. but like I said, they had dropped them from 7.99 to 6.99, and now had 7.99 prices on the ends of the pegs and new price tickets of 7.99 over the 6.99 ones.
On a side note, they had moved overstock of the ROC toys into the aisle where the 25th joes had been, and restocked the vehicles, so they are restocking, but they hadn't gotten the third wave yet (with pp snakeeyes) |

I wouldn't believe for one minute that the prices are gonna stay at $6.99 That's why it's advertised as a "Price Cut" It's to get you to buy more for a short period of time because it's lower and could go back up at any time
