I tell you, it's hit and miss with the figures. The movie Deadpool is missing wrist and ankle articulation as well, and aside from not being Deadpool, he'd be a decent figure overall with at leas the wrist movement. I was also tempted to pick up the Wolverine and the X-Men Nightcrawler but I'm pretty sure he's missing elbow articulation.

Interesting responses to Gambit. I was able to get Deadpool at Walmart but the 2 Targets I goto, the pegs are full of the XM Origins movie/cb figures sans Gambit.

Gambit? Lots. Deadpool? Not so much. Have yet to see one of those. Honestly, I don't think you're missing much by not being able to find Gambit.

I actually have gambit and yeah i do feel hosed by the lack of ankle and wrsit articulation but those aside...asthetically its a pretty cool figure and while i dont particularly like the lack of movement i do generally think its okay. The thing i hate is that god awful hip articulation. the MU line has it right...why couldnt the origins figures have that style. it woulda been epic win....not just a passing grade.

Yeah, like I said, he's not Deadpool, but he goes pretty well as some wacky piecemeal monster mutant. And the line's hurting for truly bad guys at the moment. Yeah it's supposed to be movie dedicated and God Forbid we confuse the children... so get wood chopping, rollerblading and veterinarian Wolverine but no Omega Red, Deathstrike, Silver Samurai or even Cyber.

Has anyone picked up any of these figures for 5.99 at Target with the rumored sale price? |

I wonder if the writers read the comics and said "This is trash, lets tell our own story." "I loved Baraka from Mortal Kombat, lets combine him with...whats his name...Deadpool." Who am i kidding,i may dislike the figs..I'm still going to see the movie. |

agreed but that new one is deadpool. He is not in the movie looking like that till after weapon 11 is made to fight wolverine in like the last ten seconds of the movie and then he is dead - deadpool. |

I wonder if he'll be over simplified in articulation like early photo's suggested Blob would be... with his weird "me likee" grab hands.
Sadly, I can't drive to Target to save 2 bucks on a figure. |

I agree with you all about the articulation. I snagged up the first Gambit I saw and fixed him. I've been waiting a long time for a decent one. I just saw the movie it was quite a ride. It jumped around a lot and mixed/compressed his story a bit, but everyone will still see it many times over.
