Mattel released a line of action figures in the 1960s based on the space craze at the time. Major Matt Mason Mattel's Man in Space. Matt Mason was the main astronaut, but the line had several other characters in the line that just had different colored suits really. I obviously was way too young to have had any of these figures growing up, but was intrigued by them as I came across them online.

Bro your space guys rock, especially starcom dash. See this is why 4 inch figs should be prevalent . The vehicle from starcom would be so effin’ epic.

Matt Mason is fantastic! The Space Force body really looks fantastic all painted up. Love all of the color breaks in his space suit, really makes him pop.
Never heard of this toyline before but they have some awesome setups in the quick search that I did. Can’t wait to see more of them!

Major Matt Mason looks great, as do the other astronaut figures you've created. I may have had some figures in that line as a small child, but my older brother definitely had them, as well as the base and the walker-vehicle. The different colored space uniforms I remember were yellow, blue and red. The biggest drawback for those guys was that the were the bendy type figures, and the wires seemed prone to breaking, leaving the limbs stuck straight out... The base, vehicles (there was a spaceship, too, but I don't remember if my brother had that or not) and accessories were pretty cool. Thanks for bringing the Major out of retirement (which I have heard Mattel is also doing).
