The Duke set is legit. The helmet is really flimsy, and a little too big. That's my only complaint. Everything else is the usual high Gridiron quality. |

I actually dig the set a lot- even the helmet- but don't have the knife or additional holster attached. Too much extra gear or add on's can make a figure look too busy IMHO. Nice to have options, but editing is important.

That Duke set is right. I like it in order to give him an alternate look. Hey man, can you take a picture of L.J. with the helmet on? I want to see if she looks as ridiculous as Michael Dukakis did when he was ridin' around in that tank.

I have a few things on the way. The Katana/Wakisashi set, OG helmet with visor, and the breakdown .50. I'm giving that bad boy to Spirit.
Sent them an email with a product idea. It would be awesome if they created traditionally styled replacement swords for Classified Storm Shadow that fit in the factory backpack. His swords are the weakest part of that figure.

I asked this question on the Action Force thread, but they're too busy debating giving figures a hot-water bath over there to answer it. ;) For any of you that have both Action Force and Gridiron Studios weapons, can you please give a comparison of their material/durability? I have the Alpha and Bravo accessory sets preordered with BBTS, but am wondering if they will be more or less robust that the Gridiron products. I have the Command Loadout and Viper minigun sets from Gridiron, so I know how they are in-hand.
Thanks! |
