But the EU are going to introduce similar legislation in the summer. They put it off from January due to the pandemic.

Yes, Well, Marauder Incs customer service is shit.
I had an order sent to someone in the USA. It's gone missing. I can't contact USPS myself nor even will Marauder Inc - "not my responsibility" he said. I even asked when I placed the order would it be possible to ship it to a US contact and then onto me from there - no warning, he just happily took the cash...inform him of problems and it's "not my responsibilty". He hasn't even bothered responding further...even when I told him that I am currently dealing with the sudden loss of my Girlfriends Father- the funeral was today in fact. This just adds to the stress. Now I'm out of pocket and my items and no one wants to help. I even gave Marauder Inc the tracking number and he can't be bothered to help me. So no, he doesn't provide great customer service. Happy to take my money though. If I knew about stackr or whatever that mail.forwarding service was I'd have used it. I thought I could trust my US contact and Marauder Inc - I was wrong. If a packets sent First Class International via USPS on April 3rd and it's now May 5th without the tracking number ever updating its locale then clearly something's wrong here. I wonder if either a PayPal dispute or filing N indemnity claim with my Bank will recoup my money... What really hacks me off is the fact I'd explained the stress I'm under right now to Marauder Inc - has he replied since? NO. Hardly "great customer service" then. If the Mods are okay with it I'll even supply the name and address of the guy in Pittsburgh who claims he posted my order onto me...for all I know he's decided to keep my stuff...

I totally get the frustration, but if i'm understanding this right, and your order arrived at your contact (which it seems like, as you say he claims to have forwarded it to you), MGR fulfilled their end of the bargain. What do you honestly expect them to do about it? File a claim for a successfully delivered package?

Would anyone like to be treated like this? I doubt it. I've emailed MGR repeatedly and silence. Clearly he is happy to take the cash, not provide even a modicum of good customer service. At the end of the day, I'm not a US citizen. He knew that. It went to a proxy address to be forwarded onto me. In any case, I still paid MGR so I'm the customer... When something similar happens to you all I'm sure I'll read about it on here - but I'll be 100% sympathetic. Or at the very least MGR could contact USPS with the tracking I gave him and ask USPS to contact ME directly... He can't be arsed - does anyone call that helpful customer service? I certainly dont.

First, sorry to hear about the loss of your girlfriends father, as well as the stress of not getting your items. However, I feel you are being very unfair in what you are expecting of MGR in the terms of good customer service.
So, is this the correct timeline? 1. You order from MGR 2. They ship your order to PA as requested 3. Item is received in PA 4. Your contact in PA gives you a tracking number from the USPS and says its been shipped 5. Now you want MGR to track it down? What prevents you from contact USPS yourself? MGR stopped being an agent for you the moment your item arrived in PA. If they continue to act as your agent, they increase their risk of seeming like they are at fault. You talk about getting your money back. It might work, but then who does PayPal or your bank go after? MGR? No, they did what was asked of them. This is unfortunately between you, your contact in PA (why don't they contact USPS for you?) and USPS. |

Condolences on a personal note.
But, buddy, you’ve been fairly unreasonable the majority of the thread, including attacking MGR and their customer service multiple times. Yet, you still placed an order with them, which was fulfilled as requested- now you want them to solve a problem that is definitely not their problem? It sucks your contact burned you, but that’s on him. You were trying to defeat Marauders shipping ban, and in doing so engaged in a certain amount of risk. Asking someone else to bare that burden, and seemingly attempting to guilt trip them to boot, doesn’t make you seem like the victim here.

You see, if you are using a forwarding person or service, then no, Marauder can NOT contact the post office and ask them to contact YOU, because as far as the post office was/is concerned, you were never the recipient of a package from Marauder Inc, and the delivery of the package Marauder Inc sent was completed in Pennsylvania. It doesn't keep the same "number" when it gets forwarded on to you from PA...it's a new shipment sent by the forwarding party to you, and Marauder Inc is not legally able to access that information because it's not "their" package. All they can tell you is if the package that was shipped to PA is marked as delivered. Period. And you already know that. Once it made it to PA, as far as both the USPS and MArauders are concerned, it was delivered to the intended recipient. After that it's effectively secondhand goods being shipped by a third party to you. You absolved Marauders of any responsibility beyond getting it to PA when you told them ship it there. You are literally expecting something from them that they cannot legally do, and are under no obligation to do, either, especially since THEY CAN'T DO IT. So basically, you need to contact your forwarding service and get THEM to try to track whatever package you haven't received yet, because they're the only people that the USPS will allow to access that information...besides yourself, of course. You should be able to file a package trace directly with the USPS if you have the tracking number and a matching delivery address. Of course the USPS is very slow to respond these days what with the Pandemic and all that, but I'm pretty sure even foreign nationals should be able to access it. Idk if your contact kept your stuff or not. However my wife sends packages too her friend in the Netherlands and the last one took 2 months to arrive and the tracking number never updated until it made it thru customs in the netherlands a day before it was delivered. So maybe theres hope your toys show up yet. As other people have said though theres nothing maraduer can do for you.
