Putting the HEAT viper in a regular fitting uniform instead of tights makes a world of difference. Much improved.

Thanks and welcome back! Really love how the head worked out. Was sitting on it for a while wanting to use it and this was perfect for HEAT Viper as soon as I painted over the eyes.

Took the Christmas break off from customizing and the internet for the most part to recharge, then that just sort of unexpectedly extended well into January. So in short, it’s been a while since I posted or really worked on anything / took pictures so feels good to be back. A ton of great customs posted on here since I took my break so still so much I need to circle back and catch up on.
For me though, this is one that I started on Friday and finished up over the weekend. Flint_Rocks deserves some credit on this one since messages from him are what helped give me the itch to grab a brush and start working on something. Once Walmart finally sent my Retro Baroness’, I knew one that I wanted to do was the cartoon blue version. So I grabbed the new Retro figure, my brush and blue paint and went to work. Just a simple and easy paint job on the Hasbro figure here to get me back into the action. Really love how the paint grabbed onto this figure and how the brighter color really showed off the awesome sculpt that Hasbro gave us. At some point I need to grab the original Hasbro blue Baroness and try that head to see if I can give her the green lenses that way. Would like to get the green lenses look on this one at some point. For now though, the head was too good to mess with. Baroness I was torn between doing the cartoon look and the Valor vs Venom (I think) look. Ultimately I wanted the higher boots so I went more classic ARAH. Looks great with my Talking Cobra Commander: Then since I haven’t really taken pictures recently either, some where poor Outback just got done in by a lack of firepower:

Never been a fan of the blue suit Baroness, but this looks really good! Smooth paint job. Never realized how bad the original blue suit Baroness sculpt was from the 25th line until that side by side. I actually don't think all of the 25th sculpts were that bad, but some like that one are atrocious.

Glad to see you back my friend!
And shows you still got the skills with this baroness ! Clean paint , but gotta say , that generic head doesn’t fit with your paint job man. I’m sure it’s the only head you had which makes sense, Your paint job and build outshines that head all day!

Very cool Baroness H&R! I have been considering doing a blue version Baroness and you may have just sold me on the idea. One thing I haven’t noticed is the size of the retro Baroness versus the 25th. It looks much better proportion wise, especially in the trunk and thighs.

I’m sure it’s the only head you had which makes sense, Your paint job and build outshines that head all day! Definitely played it safe on my first custom after the layoff, kept the training wheels on and didn’t go too crazy. Haha. Just a simple paint job, popped so well though. I went back and forth with the head, thought about painting it but the Hasbro paint job was really nice looking in person......just not custom paint job nice. Sort of looks downward too. Hoping we get some options from Marauder or Boss Fight down the road so I can maybe swap it out later when we have more hair styles. Thanks! Thanks, I appreciate it! Quote:
Thanks! Was fun to paint some Hasbro stuff again, was definitely feeling some boredom with the “same old parts.” Nice to see my painting skills didn’t drop too much with the time off. Haha. Quote:

Awesome, definitely recommend a blue Baroness for your shelf. Love the black version obviously but was always something about the blue outfit that just looked so cool in the cartoon.
