I'm hoping the CT will be a POC/30th/50th CT with non-Caucasian (black) skin. Leave everything else the same. Yes, it won't match the card art, but when did that stop them before.
Full force rumored that meteor will be a female CT. If so, please use the club build with the male helmet so it will stay on her head.

I think that's a wishful thinking of yours that Hasbro will use the club parts... A female Cobra? I doubt that since they are re recreating the original characters and a she Cobra Trooper will enter into the new figure category which is not what they are trying to do. Hasbro is avoiding legal issues with the club and there is a lot of information behind that we don't even know that should the reason on why Hasbro is not touching anything create/used from the Club
Just like the whole fiasco with Harmony Gold and the 2013 SDCC Jetfire. Hasbro basically told HG to STFU and go away. And still released JetFire.

Hasbro will take the path of least resistance with the Retro line, this is a single store exclusive line, don't expect them to care about trying to fight anyone, they have a million paths to take and figs to release, so it doesn't matter what they can or can't.

GI Joe was a dead line, stores didn't want it, and it's a property lacking any media tie ins. As much as folks want to blame Hasbro for everything, they had no real choice. Did they underproduce? No they didn't, they have no reason to under produce the toys and people claiming otherwise are idiots, the whole point of their business is to sell toys and make money. They produced what they believed they could sell and what the retailers are willing to carry. The initial product shortages are in no doubt because of stores basically not interested in investing in GI Joe. Hasbro has no trouble getting in cases and regular stock going to these stores for their other lines, cause this is what the retailers are willing to buy. Until Hasbro can prove to the retailers that this line has an audience and is selling, the Classified stuff is going to continue to be hard to get. So far we are seeing improvements in the line, as retailers are able to still take orders for future waves coming up, with some retailers placing orders for 20+ cases of the upcoming rerelease of the CT. As one toy store I spoke with said, they had an open order period going for the future waves, essentially they were taking orders for the future production runs. Wave 1 and 2 of this line were basically all produced and on the way long before they knew the demand of the line, and stores would have already had their preorders in. The initial sell outs and success for the line is great, it will help them produce more in the future. As for the Retro line, folks put too much into getting worked up on it, when this is a store exclusive only line, it's not a focus, and also "hasbro isn't listening", yea sure again this all takes time and with a pandemic production line and eco system, everything is further delayed. All these toys have been planned and in the works many months ago, fanboy complaints, wants, suggestions, they would all be too late to make a difference. Fans need to be respectful, give your feedback, give it time. Folks have been seeing the victories of their whining in how the Classified line has been evolving and the changing of design/paint apps being done, but it takes time for the feedback to be considered. Besides Duke, what other characters do we not have an "Ultimate" version of yet? Maybe we can post some recipes on here.
I can think of 2 right away: Stalker: Yes, the POC Stalker is a great figure, but the head with the Dreads is not ARAH style. When you put the club Stalker head (TF stalker, Arctic Stalker, or Jammer) on the POC Stalker body, it's too big IMO. If they are not going to sculpt a new head, then I would like to see the Club TF Stalker head, torso and arms, with POC CT legs, all painted in V1 colors. I guess you could swap out the lower arms with POC CT lower arms too. The TF Stalker torso is a 25th torso, but the proportions work well with that head and Mouse Upper arms. Falcon: I hope they use the SF Falcon build painted in V1 colors. That would be very easy to do. Anyone else that needs an update?

Hasbro has had to take a toy line that no retailer wanted to carry for years. GI Joe died after Retaliation because retailers refused to carry the product anymore, the sales were already trending downward and when the movie delay came last minute, stores were stuck with mountains of GI Joe merch for a movie that didn't come out. The big retailers all refused to stock future GI Joe products and it forced Hasbro to dump the future waves straight to liquidators.

They want retailers to want GI Joe, it's still thousands of stores that need merchandise and they won't want to lose that. More Pulse exclusives will happen but this is why these companies all still do retailer exclusives, it's just a method to sell more merchandise beyond their normal wave releases, they make deals to produce exclusives and selling more. If it works out it also shows the retailers interest in the IP and will help sell more of the general releases as well or want to sign up for even larger more exclusives. It sucks for collectors, but it's good for their bottom line. We suffer for it sadly. |

The 3 most important ultimate's we still need in my opinion are: Falcon, Duke, and Roadblock. Major Bludd and Stalker would be cool too. But the first 3 are more important. and I have to add my 2 cents on Falcon parts. The FSS sonic fighter version was the best body build so far but still not that accurate. He needs the retaliation Kwinn/ Colton arms with the shorter sleeves. I dont mind that torso at all but the legs on him are a bit petite. I say if they use that 25th Dusty torso just use the 25th dusty legs as well cus they are bulkier and not scrawny. Basically he should more or less look like this:
