Colonial Heights is my local store, so I’ve been hitting them often and haven’t seen a hint of wave 2

I seen that the vehicles have been restocked constantly so this open the doors for a Haslab project.

I saw a similar stack of AWE's but for the first time in weeks they were out of HISS tanks. Used to be the inverse, where they had many more HISS than AWE, but they recently got in like 4 cases (two AWE to a case) of Strikers so now have more of those. Speaking of taking stock of what's been selling (or not) in AF's this holiday season. In my area the LEGO aisle is decimated with just a smattering of product left on shelf, except for the two MOTU sets which they still had plenty of when I was at WM last night. Same for the AF aisle, which was pretty wiped out except for many, many pegs of MOTU Origins still mostly full. Of course WM where I am had gobs of Masters to start with but it is interesting to note that only the Masters stuff seems to be hanging around when most everything else AF is going under a tree or in a stocking this Xmas. Even those McFarlane RAW figures were wiped out. Boy does Todd know what kids like. Anyway, I chalk the poor Masters sales up to a poor release strategy as well as kids having no familiarity with a 30+ year old brand that has no movie or TV support. Maybe 2021 will speak differently to how well Masters sells (when their Netflix series launch, etc.), but 2020 didn't seem to be too kind to the brand... no matter what Mattel executives are saying. |

My wife surprised me today with all three Wave 2 figures! How she lucked out and found Scarlett, I do not know. And she bought the whole wave (I'm guessing because I had 2 Destro, 2 Roadblock, and 1 Scarlett).
My Scarlett's eyebrows are not as thick as other photos I have seen, so I don't think I'll do much customizing on the head except giving the hair a wash in brick red to tone down the brightness. I'll end up customizing the body to look even more retro ARAH. Jason |
