Ah, the Amish Abe.
It is weird how popular 'staches were during the 70s-80s. Cheesy buncha creepers. Let's be honest, those two decades aren't known for their good taste in, well, much of anything. Clothing, interior decor, cologne, automotive styling, architecture...you name it, chances are good it either looked like, or smelled like, dirty hobo ass in those two decades.

Some pretty cool guns came out of that era too. That was back when a weapon looked like it could kill you. Now, like modern cars, they all look like toys to me.

I’d be guessing but all of the guys who were at Hasbro RnD were probably old school guys, probably big time vets with a distaste for long hair. My dad never understood the difference between metals heads and hippies. They all probably thought that long haired hippies had no business being in Joe.

Movies. As far as I’m concerned, 69-83 is the prime era for cinema.

I was wondering this, too, actually. But now that it's been answered, I have a different question that I wasn't quite sure where to post. However, I think I can tie it all together, and remain on-topic:
Does anyone know if the YouTuber "formbx257" (who has a mustache) is still active? His channel is/was such a valuable resource (alongside yojoe.com, 3djoes.com, etc) for absorbing as much pre-history as possible, as quickly as possible. However, he's only uploaded once in the past 9 months. And that was in March. He said something like (I'm paraphrasing here), "Hey, sorry about that, but I'm back now." Then disappeared again. Wow. That comment was so random. Not to be argumentative, but no. I could list at least 50 movies made since, say, the year 2000 that are as good or better than anything produced during that span (69-83). However, that would be off-topic.
