However, I don't think anyone is saying that Hasbro give the fans exactly what HHFF has produced. I understood the post as more of a suggestion of templates for the next rumored figures. Given that the new HISS Tank Driver and Crank Case are kit-bashed figures, I could see Hasbro doing some minor kit-bashing. I seriously doubt they will for Duke, Scarlett, and Roadblock though, except maybe for the heads. My hope is that Duke will be a DOTD Flint body with Renegades Duke head painted in classic ARAH 1983/1984 colors. If Hasbro goes for a straight, existing build (body) for Scarlett, then I hope it's the Resolute figure, again in classic ARAH 1982/1983 colors, but with a new head sculpt. They might be able to make the Resolute head look better with the new paint technology, but I would just prefer a new sculpt altogether. Finally, with Roadblock, if they would just give us the FSS Tiger Force Roadblock build in ARAH 1984 colors, I think most people would be satisfied. While I understand HHFF's reasoning for using Gung-Ho's lower legs to look more like the classic figure, this wouldn't be a maker or break for me. My only concern for Roadblock is that they will just use a straight V. 24 build in classic colors. I'm not sure how the molding/parts process goes, but it seems to me that if Hasbro was able to combine the parts to make FSS Tiger Force Roadblock, then they should be able to repeat it here. Hasbro does need to look into a new web gear for Roadblock though. The 25th doesn't fit any of the new, taller bodies. Jason |

HHFF's figures are more than just Hasbro-builds with enhanced paint decos. He always puts subtle details to his customs. For example, for Duke, he added the parachute wings from a 25th figure to the chest and also trimmed down the collar of the undershirt (turtleneck). Both Scarlett and Roadblock are actually kit-bashed from different figures. If I am correct, Scarlett combines arm pieces from the 25th and Resolute figures, the torso is a Renegades figure and the legs are again from the Resolute figure, not to mention the custom accessories he added. Likewise Roadblock combines pieces from Gung-Ho's lower legs.

We won’t get those from Hasbro. As templates? The overall builds except Scarlett are already build Hasbro has made, with the slight exception of RB’s lower legs. HHFF has taken the templates and enhanced them, but the templates already existed. Tweaking the templates is kind of HHFF’s sweet spot. But if my point isn’t clear by now, clearly I lack the ability to articulate it.

I think it was more like a Wild Bill mustache.
Nice video about his background. That's fantastic that he was part of prototyping for Transformers. I think it's better to try to work with him than against him. Send him suggestions...

This isn't really that funny. It just confuses people who happen by the thread.

Here are some comparison pics. From left to right: Ren, 50th, Retro
You can see color changes with the retro SS. The leg ties are almost a light blue, and the Cobra sigil is smaller, like the 50th version. Again from Left to right: Ren, 50th, Retro You can see the Retro hasn't been out in the sun recently. I guess the photo real is better, but hard to say with this figure, as there is not much face to show.
