If I decide to do a New Era version, I will certainly pay homages in the correct spots.

Flint is fantastic. Flint's always been a favorite (being from Kansas and me being born and raised in the Sunflower state) and I 100% agree with your personality profile, including being left handed. Love the look and how you really paid attention to the original figure and made an excellent homage while still updating. Well done.

As for the left hand, I want to make the military accurate. Very OCD about that stuff. Quote:

Flint is at the top of my favorite Joe characters of all time. This figure is a very well done depiction of that character. I like the build, which makes him more of a hard case than the original seemed to be, but it still stays within the realm of it being the same person, just a more seasoned, grizzled version of him. The head, from Angel Forge, isn't bad, but I prefer making Flint with a removable beret (he was the first figure that I gave one to when that became a reality). The t-shirt torso is my go-to look for him now, but your choice in vest (is it a modded JoyToy one?) takes him over the top! The camo on the pants looks great, but like kuh rupht, I am drawn to the... boots, of all things. However, my reasoning for the boots getting noticed is that you actually took the time to paint the laces! Now that is bold, brother! I mean, I give mine a dry brushing, to get them to stand out, but you went all in, painting each section of the laces (though you may need to touch on the upper section of the left boot). The JoyToy gloved hands are a fantastic choice, having a lot more detail than other brands. I like that you have the necklace showing, but tucked under the vest. One thing that is missing in your pictures of this figure is a shot from the back, as you have him carrying all kinds of weaponry, which shows from the front shots, but it would be nice to see how it is configured on his back(pack?). Once again, your paints are precise and the colors perfect for the figure you've built.

Thank each of you! I’m really glad this one was a homerun for everyone. Also appreciate so many people who are loving my work. I put a shit ton in to it. Quote:

Well these are the compliment I really love to see. Is bringing to life your guys favorite characters Where you appreciate everything done. Blending all areas and criteria of a figure is easier said than done, but when the end result is like this Flint, then it’s all worth it. Thanks you all very very much for checking out my work. As always greatly appreciated!

So much detailing! Haha. Everything going on with his torso is just fantastic. Always enjoy taking in how much effort you go through to make plastic look like official gear. Those gloves are epic too, love the closed fist look.
Total badass Flint, would love to see a Lady Jaye join the ranks at some point to team with him. Such an awesome group of Joes you are putting together, you need them to be to deal with those Dreadnoks!
