So I missed a day, and have to comment on two figures this time. First up was Big Bear of the two. I found this to be a very interesting figure, as I would not have thought to use the WW2 Brit buck for a Russian, but it works! While most folks (myself included) are looking for ways to incorporate the WW2 Russian bodies into our Oktober Guard, you thought outside the box and took a different route. A little sculpting and a little paint and BAM! Big Bear is done. Great job!
Next, the second of the figures you've posted is Wild Card. This is a figure that I always liked, in spite of the clumsy, oversized helmet and the burgundy pants. I like the fact that you've update the pants, making them a more down to earth color for a military guy. My favorite part of your figure is that mustache you sculpted on Steve Roger's noggin... I didn't even recognize the head until your picture with the helmet off! Great job on that! In conclusion, congratulations on taking both the Marauder Task Force and the Boss Fight Studios plunges! I think you will find that the bucks from these companies make for great starting points to recreating some of our favorite Joes and Cobras! -Todd Shakka85

Super impressive work man! I recently did a Big Bear with a very similar build but I used different lower legs and now I’m regretting it because yours came out better in my opinion. I really like the details of the sculpted pockets on the arms too.
Also, really like how you executed Wild Card. He needed an update cause his helmet was horrendous. This is so much better and now I want to do something like that. Can’t wait to see more of your work.

The helmet? Well there was little I could do back then but thankfully nowadays there are options. The altered color design and helmet were the two big definite changes I wanted to make and then designed the remainder of the figure around that. Thanks once again for the comments. Quote:

Really awesome Wildcard! Those part choices worked out great for him! Been waiting for the Marauder Vietnam stuff to be shown since I’m planning mine for when those parts hit. Stumbled across his original helmet though recently when messing with things so cool time to see a custom of him pop up. Great job!
