My Avacs Lab order has just arrived (issue with International post at the moment not with Avacs Lab) so as promised I will show a comparison of the 2 helmets using a Marauder body and Marauder head.
The one from Action Figure Supplies is 3d printed so is a little rougher (but can be sanded down) it also naturally sits a little low on the head (the eyes are too high) but can be nudged up and rested on the nose to be at the right height. I initially thought the Avacs Lab one sat a little high on the head (the eyes were too low down) but it must have been slightly uneven inside (being cast this could be just mine) and with a little extra pushing it actually sat at a perfect height. The Avacs Lab one also comes with it's own head, but I had already painted up my Marauder one so I decided to stick with that. I decided to go with the Avacs Lab one, although they are both good helmets. |

Great stuff AF! ;) I gotta agree, the AVACS one is better quality and by look, guess I’ll have to go get that one now as well. Not that I got an Ironblood Marauder yet but probably will at some point, wow dude, yours is awesome with that helmet, looks perfect! Cheers for doing this man! Lee. |

I used MGR parts, but used the parts from the first KS, as I did this years ago.

If Marauder does a winter German, I'd use that, and since I used the red German for Red Shadows and the black German for the Black Major it would give my group some nice cohesion. I'm looking at the winter Panzer Grenadier but I don't think it would work.
