Thanks, the chrome pen did a great job on the helmet. Love how well that worked.
No, I somehow missed that canceled Wild Weasel, he’s an idea for the future though. Thanks for sharing the link! I definitely want to do the version with the sky blue accents but probably tackle this one to add to a different group sometime down the road if I have extra parts. This one for me was a total accidental build. Haha. I had used a chrome upper body for v2 Mercer, & red legs for a Cobra Mortal so I just had this body just snapped together & sitting in my bin. Then at some point I got the helmet & stumbled across the body while trying to come up with an idea and this is what came together. Funny that they were planning on doing something similar, had we gotten that I may never have made this one.

Nice SB Wild Weasel! He fits in well with the Star Brigade aesthetic while still retaining his iconic look.

Thanks! Appreciate it! Having a ton of fun building out this group. Keeping with the theme, we have another who was well used during my heavy Joe years in Star Brigade Ozone. Loved the Eco Warriors version so I went crazy as a kid when they gave us a second version of him. Another that is built using some painted Marauder parts and a vintage helmet. Oh, and a Dime Novel Legends head for when his helmet isn’t on.

Thanks! Ozone comes off as such a badass with Marauder parts so I couldn’t be happier with this one.
The Invader & Pogo are both so awesome. Can’t believe how long it took me to add both to my collection.

Another figure that came together by accident because of leftover parts I had from other builds & a head I found in a fodder bin. This is my Star Brigade Cobra Mortal. We have the Club version & I made a more accurate original version of out Marauder parts but I liked the design so much that I was trying to get another version into my modern collection somehow & realized Star Brigade fit him pretty well.
The body & exo suit are all Marauder parts with a little red paint because I ran out of the pouches I wanted to use, I believe the head is from the Cobra Commander on the red Rise of Cobra card. May hit him with a chrome marker down the road but since this is my only red exo suit, I was avoiding that for now.

That works surprisingly well!
I’ve always been a fan of that Pursuit or Cobra Cobra Commander even tho most people don’t like him. The chromed snake head just looks more sinister than the blank mirror face. |

Thanks, worked out great because what else do you do with one silver leg, one red leg after you make the original Mortal? Haha.
I actually didn’t recognize the head when I pulled it out of the bin and used it to make this figure. I have the red Commander but never opened him because the card was so unique so I always just assumed he had the same clear head as the regular release. Now that I have it in hand, probably have to either open that Commander or pick up a second copy because it is really decent.
