It's very clearly an O-Ring line:
Transformers has retro G1 releases Star Wars has retro toy releases Real Ghostbusters has retro toy releases So, then why would this be any different?

We all have our preferences.
Mine would be to follow the Star Wars model to a tee. 6 inch figures = CHECK Infrequent retro reissues for nostalgia = APPARENTLY CHECK Collector quality modern sculpts based on classic designs with a numbering system like Star Wars: The Vintage Collection that can expand over time, and include POC reissues like Sci-Fi, Lifeline etc on classic cards. Call it GI Joe: The Vintage Collection = WANT |

I wonder if this is going to be the rumored line that was seen at the Nuremberg toy fair. I'm not jumping the gun like I did when I thought Hasbro was going to release alot more info then they did at the NY toy fair.

I really hope it's classic ARAH o-ring figures. I'll be all in if it is. I just hope it's more than seven a year like the Star Wars retro line is.
Wouldn't it be something if we got the chance to have brand new remakes of 82-86, and hopefully all the way into the 90's too. If they do this, then we'll be able to take our childhood "to the grave" with us. I look forward to being in my 80's still having an o-ring Duke or any of them still here with me all the way to the end. |

I really hope these are 1/18 scale, modern articulation and sculpt figures. The packaging can be retro. I have no interest in reissued o-ring Joes... I still have all of mine from the 80w and most of the 2000s reissues as well.
Maybe they’ll be true modern “retro” figures, as in 5 POA Star Wars style sculpts like all the Super 7 stuff... just to piss EVERYONE off. They did it with He Man.

So, 12.93 is WalMart's standard price on fully articulated figures. Is the Star Wars Retro line also 12.93? I thought they were less, and if they aren't, Hasbro really is just a wake of vultures.
Although, o-rings have superior articulation to retro Star Wars.
