I would buy a modrn capt grid iron if he was done right. He was a fave of mine when i was a kid and was a forerunner on my joe squad.

SO, Just an FYI: I'm working with Raging Spoon to make some ME style Capt. Grid Iron heads and Helmet/Visors. They should be available for order fairly soon. I sent him an original Grid Iron and he's casting it from that... I'm pretty pumped.

He plays for Army!! ARMY!! Army who hasn't had a great quarterback in over thirty years! Plus, there is roughly 120 D1 college football programs. Sure, it is an accomplishment to say that you were a D1 QB, but lets not make it out that he was a) playing for a great football school / powerhouse and b) I doubt that he was that good a player because if he was .. he most likely wouldn't have gone to Army to play football! There would have been much better options.

The first post makes me like the character even in his football gear.

I was getting out of Joes when he came out but i did get him and thought he was pretty spectacular. If he was redone with less football gear but kept his primary points he would be a badass for the team.

Some might argue, "That's crazy. If I were able to play D1 football, and I had a choice between an Academy or a place like Alabama or LSU, I would totally go play for Alabama or LSU!" That's fine, but the guys who make that argument are probably not the guys who have what it takes to become a Special Operations Officer, a Special Ops enlisted man - maybe - but not an officer.
