Um.....20.00 that's it, cause the variant won't be as rare. Hasbro is doing the variant in every other case.

I paid $50 for a pair. I don't think that's too much given how much hassle it is to actually find anything remotely new around here within the first 4 weeks of release. Probably evens out considering I drive a full size truck.

It wasn't long ago (that's why there's not much love for Wraith) He's a DDP creation and came long after the Marvel run. Find DDP issue 31/32/33 (he's got a pretty cool story about Alexander (Destro's son) hiring him to break Maj.Bludd out of Blackwater prison. GrandSlam, ShipWreck, and BeachHead try and stop him... GrandSlam even shoots him point-blank w/some hi-tech grenade round and Wraith still ends up kicking their butts...)

I'd just be interested in someone telling me where the hell this character came from. I admit to not being a childhood reader of the comics and then refining my understanding as I grew up and bought the back issues. My first G.I. Joe comic was the last issuw with Hawk, Snake-Eyes, stalker and Duke folding the flag. I read Batman comics and novels as a kid. Then, as I got older, I read X-Men. But I never read the Joe comics as a kid. I relied on the cartoon to explain it to me. .

I thought Wraith was hired by Destro.... or his son when he assumed control of the M.A.R.S. empire, but I could be mistaken. It's been so long since I read any of that. The comics were very interesting, as it touched on a lot of back story that never made it to the cartoon.

VARIANTS and Exclusives are nothing more than items designed for a secondary market and IMO ruin the fun of collecting figures as if you want all the line you have to pay out the ass for these thigns and thats not fun. I can see paying money for a custom figure that someone put time money and effort into but not something straight out of the factory. BOO To Variants and Exclusives.

I don't think it will go very high at all. even if the ratio is the same as black timber, the actual output of figures is going to be much more as production clearly has increased since wave 1 (and yellow Stalker was a running change so that isn't even onm the conversation in correlating its value to a new variant), so there will be more out there. basic economics demands that with more out there, the price will be less. I say it averages out at about $70 at the most if collectors work themselves into a frenzy.
though, it also may end up being just like a black Destro and only worth $30 if it is as easy to find, which would be my guess. |

Oh, I'm thinking maybe $30 - $35 + shipping..... depends on the ratio, but he's not a SDCC exclusive or anything
