I agree. The 3.75 RoC TR was a total botch. They outfitted him with a sniper rifle...serious...the gun was as tall as he was and what would a guy who crawls around in tight spaces want a big ass long ranged rifle with a scope for? Totally BS. A Sideshow TR would rule. 14" barrel sawed off shotty, couple of pistols, satchel with some charges, wirecutters, pliers, timers, maybe a working flashlight, or headlamp, NV goggles, tear gas, and a gas mask, would all make perfect sense for him, and make a killer list of gear.

It's not like he's crawling through the tunnels on every mission he goes on - when he's not, he's packing the firepower!

I'll never understand all the whining over Firefly either. When I look at that figure all I see is Firefly. It's what Firefly would look like now. They are trying to make high quality toys in the spirit of the originals, if you want exact replicas go buy the vintage, or the 25th line. The only thing I've seen that comes off as a "botch" to me is including the lame ass laser rifle from the cartoon, but I get why it's there, so I don't say anything.

I wish I could afford these. I collected the "Hall of Fame" 12inch and I absolutely love the fact that some of the joe's have a laser.

Eh, that's a copout. All the other figures they've updated, or "reimagined" and they decide to leave TR with a huge gun and some TnT? It's being cheap. The guys specialty is infiltration and explosives. Carrying that big assed gun is silly. Just because they did something one way in the 80's doesn't mean it can't be updated or fixed.
Having it included doesn't mean you have to use it, but it's nice for those of us who would.

I'd like to see the figure without the beret.
