Finally found Jake again. Only place to have them around here was Target and they ordered only one case. Walmart finally got them in. The glorified, bigger than the figure, stand is a the biggest peice of shit I've seen in some time. Or so I thought until I pulled the figure's leg out to the side...that just looks PAINFUL. No wonder he's in the wheelchair.
Which brings me to why I got it. The wheelchair. It's simply...great. I got this in hopes of using it with with my "hero" customs and both (one O-ring, one 25th style) of them work great. Hell, even better than the figure that came with it. While milage will vary from figure to figure, the chair works with Joes. However if you want to make Professor X or Hawk, this is far from the right kind of wheelchair. It's more of a sports chair made for racing.

I got this from A&P supermarket. It was supposed to be $4.50 but it wasn't ringing up the correct price. It was normally $8.99 but coming up $7 so this little cute blonde front end supervisor comes over and tries to fix it and I show the sign that it says $4.50 and she still couldn't get it to ring up correctly by then I had a "Mr. Grumbles" behind me acting like a douche and giving her the evil eye.So she rings it up for .54 cents and tells me "Merry Christmas".There was only one Avatar figure I wanted to get so I can use it for this and a possible Professor X custom.
The figure itself really sucks and not worth the $9 most retailers are asking for |

Nice score.
Too bad you didn't score some digits too, lol. What is the articulation of the figure? How does it scale next to Joes? I'm thinking of grabbing some of 'em when they hit clearance to use as background support staff kind of stuff. And yeah, want that wheelchair.

From what i've seen, they have the same articulation that PTE figs. It looks like a T crotch, but it works like a Joe shoulder, it moves pretty well.(actually better than Joes) I'm reallly liking these figs. Every single one looks useful for customizing, and can be used as they are without doing anything. That wheelchair guy is going to be popular. Just a headswap and looks like RoC Hawk, even the colours match.

Best .54 I ever saved...not too into Avatar. But the wheelchair could be nice for a custom.

I laugh how it says highly articulated on the package. They are slighty smaller than Joes they have a smaller neck ball joint so Avatar heads can't go on joes without drilling but strangely Joe heads fit in the Avatar but look oddly huge compared to the body.Similar arm articulation,no waist articulation and really odd legs.I'll post a pic in a minute
Also, what kind of plastic they have? Rigid or softer? They look less detailed, but still useful for regular crew on a Pit or the like.
