Real Steel - I'd been waiting forever for this movie to come down in price a bit, and finally saw it for a decent price. It's a bit better than I expected really. I knew it was a family film, but the simple story and great effects really made it a lot of fun. Nice to see Jackman in something besides a Wolverine movie too.

The Mummy - Proof that Stephen Sommers can direct a good movie. It's been awhile since I've watched it. Probably because for a few years it was constantly on TNT and I just got sick of seeing it. But ti really is a great movie all around. Some of the effects haven't aged that well, but the chemistry between Rick, Evie and Johnathon make up for it. I really wish that for the sequel they would have avoided having the mummy in it all and made the three of them encounter some other monster or something. I still think Brendan Fraser would have made the perfect Duke in the G.I. Joe movie if they had made him just like Rick O'Connell.

has its good moments but its mostly dross.if he had shot two movie back to back(1st would be Team X focused) & ended the first one with Wolverine waking up after the bonding it wouldve been better. way too much crammed in. |

I liked XMO: Wolverine. For me, it got rid of the need to watch the first 3 X-men movies ever again. It gave us Logan's origin (plus one for Deadpool, saving us from an origin story in his solo movie...if it ever happens) and better fight scenes than in any X movie until "The Wolverine".
