I'm going on a trip to San Fransisco next weekend. We got some things planed but I wanna check out collector places, toy stores or comic shops.
We're going to be hitting up the DT area, Little Tokyo, the pier. You know, the touristy areas. Can anyone recommend me any places like that, near those areas?

There's the Japanese mall in Little Tokyo. You can find Japanese toys, model kits like Gundam or Tamiya stuff over there. They also have a good crepe and ramen place.

GIANTROBOT.com In the Haight-Ashbury district. Also a couple blocks from a really cool comic book store.

Thanks I'll look into those places
I've always been a little confused on that. I've heard people say "Japan Town" and "Little Tokyo" when talking about SF. Are they the same place, just that people call them differently? Or are they two different places.

I miss SF. The Palace of Fine arts and Fisherman's Wharf are a must see. That and the women are gorgeous. Think you can FedEx some sourdough to me? I'll give you pizza coupons!

My GF lives around the J-town and as many times I gone and visit there, I never get a chance to check out the hobby stores! but if you ask me for places to eat I can help.

Tons of toy stores around the Castro District. You should walk around there.

Those stores in Japan Town are cool and all, but their price are outrageous. No joes either. Also, only tourists call it SF or San Fran. Leave the shorts at home and be sure to bring jacket.
