Like I said, if we can iron out the details (but not so much that there's no wrinkle of fun left) then I'm in.
I look forward to receiving my USS Flagg in the mail soon.

I support the spirit of what you are trying to do, but there are many details that you need to work out.
How many participants? If there is one winner each month, and there are 36 participants, someone will have to wait 3 years to get a prize. You see where I'm going with this? When you have more details worked out, hit us up again. |

BrokeCon is a perfect example. I gave away several prizes, and only won once... technically not even that, Unclassified donated his prize to me . But it was a blast. I think the fun sort of dissipates the more regulated these kind of things get, and what you're proposing would require a fair amount of structure and administration.

BrokeCon was really "Who has the browser set to refresh the faster to drain bandwidth" more than anything.

I'm typing from my phone so hopefully this isn't afu. For my idea, I would be happy to send the first item. We would need to 1. Start a sign on thread 2. Limit the number joining. Say 20. Once we hit 20 we close that circle, and the next person that wants to start waits for 20 more people. 3. The person that starts the circle gets the. Name and addresses of the circle and puts them on a piece of paper 4. The starter sends their item to the next person on the list, along with a copy of the list 5. The receiver of said item can either keep the item or pass it on when you do, cross off your name 6. Once the circle completes, ie I get the list, with19 x'd off names and a toy that round is over At that point you can choose to stay in the circle, or move to a new one. Couple of simple rules: You can only be in 1 circle at a time You have 1 week from getting the "box" to either send the toy along, or send the new toy along. Keep the cost/shipping reasonable, don't be an ass and mail crap :p Le me know what ya'll think and I would be willing to start round 1
