What are the best stories you have ever read? They can be a world renown book, a movie adaptation novel, a graphic novel or a collected trade paperback. What are your fav's?

Mine are the in no particular order.
"Starship Troopers" the original novel "Squadron Supreme" the 12 ish series or TPB of the mid 80's "The Han Solo Trilogy" by A.C. Crispin telling Han Solo's origins, the individual books are The Paradise Snare, The Hutt Gambit and Rebel Dawn, I used to have a collected edition and still tend to think of it as one complete story.

There should be a solid literature sticky up in here. Because book threads pop up all the time. And if I have a couple recommendations, its for anything written by Tad Williams and Charles Stross. Win/Win situation. |

I was actually refering to a trilogy written by A.C. Crispin in the late 90's. It spans from the year 10 BBY up until the moment Han is about to sit down with Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, and Chewbacca in the Mos Eisley Cantina. Maybe a good idea, I'm a huge fan of Robert B. Parker

I've been keeping a diary since I was 11, I have all the volumes of my life.Every single day compiled on my bookshelf. When I get bored, I pull down the book and read an event that happened in my life.
I'm reading 17, when I was the nerdy girl in high school. |

LOL I still like choose your own adventures, I got a few for my son of the old GI Joe ones from back in the 80's. He's just getting to the point he can read on his own I'm hoping they'll be a hit.
