Well, howdy all, I'm currently in the hospital doing a drug infusion of lidocane for my daily presistant headaches, and until I start hallusinating my current dose is to low (I'm using the tv as a computer so I might already be there) has anyone here had a spinal tap? I had one earlyer today and I lteraly cried (it was very painful), keep in mind I've been through horrible horrible things, so that wasn't very good. I just wantedto say hi and ask if anyone here has been in te hospital for more than three days? (sorry if my spelling is bad, I'm being pumped full of drugs)

Man, I hope you get outta there sooner than later. I've heard nothing good about spinal taps... terrifying pain. Take it easy until you get better, and let us know what's up along the way, buddy.

I personally haven't been in a hospital for that long (two days). But my father spent several months (quite nearly a full year) in various hospitals, and I know the boredom and drudgery and scent of sickness and death is everywhere. It sucks. Good luck dealing with it dude.

Oh man that sucks. Are you in Chester county hospital? If so I am right down the street LMK if you need anything. Do you know when you are getting out? I have never had a spinal tap but I heard they hurt really bad, I would have cried too. Take care of yourself.

Yup, been there for the same exact thing. Spinal taps, Cat scans, MRIs, and even the painful Myelogram.
Also had a pure Caffeine drip while in the ER for a severe headache once. Now I'm on Vicodin......mmmm, Vicodin. Last edited by Ewokhunter92; 12-04-2008 at 07:59 PM.. |

no, until I have hallusinations my dose of lidocane isn't high enough, though I have heard stories, like a woman seeing a spaceship doing bad things (I don't know what), seeing bugs, and seeing different things on a wall (again I don't know what exactly)
Thanks dude, I really appriciate it. Right now I am in Philadelphia in a Jefferson Hospital. I have no clue when I'll be out, I heard of a person whose doing the exact same thing I am be here for four weeks, hopefully it won't be that long. Last edited by crazyfellow1; 12-04-2008 at 08:56 PM.. |

Hey, get well soon, man! I was in the hospital for 8 days when I was 12, had my appendix out cause it ruptured a little, that was no fun. But then, I didn't have the 'tank to keep me company. (or the internet at all, however I remember my uncle getting me the 12" Duke, Guile and Blanka figures. So it was kinda awesome.) You got any Joes with you to keep you busy?
