ok fellas. ive got 3/10 rotor blades that are too bent to fit in with the rest for my tomahawk. seeing they are 10+ a pop to replace, id like to try straightening these on my own.
so who's got the secret here. i dont think baby oil can fix this. :P i tried rubber banding them to a flat sturdy piece of metal for a week. no luck. i was thinking of doing the same and putting them in some hot water maybe? any other ideas?

thanks, but the rubber bands and metal sticks are probably the same as that.
i need something to change. either add heat, or mybe bend them back the opposite direction and hold? someone on here has at least had to have tried something...

I've heard hot water and then put them under something heavy. My Dad suggested slowly warming them up with a hair dryer and then putting them under something heavy. However, I have not tried either of these. I haven't had the time, but I have like 5 that need straightening. Let me know if you figure something out.

yeah, so maybe the heat. thats why im thinking of strapping them up to the metal pieces and dunking them for a bit. taking them out and just leaving them attached and straight.
hot hot do you think the water should be? boiling? close to it? or just warm?

hot water softens it up then bend them a little backwards under cold water and it should straiten up.

I think its hot water, they should bend back in the water a little them selves. What you dont want to do is put to much pressure on the blades as they tend to break in ways you wouldn't imagine pretty darn easily.
Were talking about plastic from over 30 years ago. The other day I noticed that all of my solid missiles of my Tomahawk had split, some how by the plastic expanding? I put them all in a baggie and now my Tomahawk looks pretty shitty.
