I picked up these two figure from a flea market this weekend. I recognized the style as I have had one of the figures for years, but had no idea what it was from.
I guess, after a little research, these are either from a Sgt. Rock line or an American Defense line. However, I can't find any pictures that match these two. If anyone can help me identify them by description, that would be awesome. I hear some of these are worth a little bit (though I want to keep them - they're kinda cool and in the vintage style). -One has tan pants with brown camo (desert-type scheme), black boots, a black tank top, removable web gear with a pistol near the figure's head, an attached helmet with removable goggles, and a small removable knife holder on his bare arms. -The other has olive legs, waist, and torso, brown thigh and shin pads, black boots, some brown camo on the torso, bare arms, x-ammo strap removable web gear (like Rock & Roll), and the same arm knife holder as the other guy. Also has dark brown hair and a green headband. |

Go here: Sgt. Rock (comics): Facts, Discussion Forum, and Encyclopedia Article and scroll down. maybe you'll get some info. EDIT: something very simple: http://www.google.com.ar/search?hl=e...16l451l0.1.0.1

If they have t-crotches they're most likely sgt rock. O-rings will be American Defense.
This is the best American Defense site currently on the web: American Defense Database There are a lot more known items they just haven't been put into a public archive as yet. If the two you have are o-ring, they sound like common American Defense or US Forces figures. |

They are definitely o-ring. I don't see them on that site, though.
Thanks for the help, guys! These are pretty neat figures. I think I'm going to hold on to them. |

Those remco molds were reused numerous times resulting in a ton of paint variations in their sublines.
